Use Wind Chimes to Enhance Your Wealth

Feng Shui Wind Chime

Wind chimes are usually made of hollow or solid metal tubes with a dapper in the center of the group. The sound created should be dear, pure, and considered pleasant by the people living with them. Their sound sends out ripples of energy which help to move and spread out Chi. Wind Chime can also disperse concentrated chi, making it more yin. You can therefore spread out the chi that is rushing through your entrance, helping to fill your whole home with new chi.

Wood, tiles, glass and ceramic chimes are not as effective as metal chimes for cure. The sound of metal wind chime radiates more metal chi.

Wind chimes are effective even if they are motionless. Their effectiveness is based on their symbolic meaning.

Applications:

  • Wealth Area Place a wind Chime in the Wealth corner of your home. The Chi in your Wealth Gua can be "awakened" and enlivened by using a wind chime as a cure. Wind Chimes are noted for their activating, generating, and protective qualities. Chimes can also symbolically call forth a message, such as a request for additional funds. Chimes are most effective if hang with a "9" red cord or ribbon. When you hang your wind chime, visualize that "wealth forces", both known and unknown are awakening and working on your behalf. You can further activate this cure by ringing your wealth chime at regualar intervals or whenever you choose.
  • Health Area Wind chimes placed at the Health gua sector can strengthen your health. Sickness comes through our front doors each year. According to Feng Shui, the energy of disease belongs to the earth element. Earth gives birth to metal and thus weakens the virulence of the illness, so you will more likely to stay healthy.
  • Career Area If you want to encourage movement, activation and awakening in your career, locate a wind chime in this location to set lots of new energy in motion.
  • Where there is a direct line between a door and a window, or a door and another door, it is very important to slow down Chi and disperse the flow of energy. Wind Chimes can usefully perform this function.
  • At a window where external, detrimental influences exist (to soften sharp lines or edges of a house or roof, telephone pole, ete.)
  • Stairs distribute the Chi from one floor to another. In many Western houses, the staircase follows almost directly after a short stretch of hall. This allows Chi to come in the front door and rush straight up the stairs, which is not advisable - the best Chi flows slowly and not in direct straight line.

A partial solution to this problem is the hanging of a wind chime between the door and the stairs to slow down the Chi. Ideally, the stairs should turn away from the front door. In some commercial buildings this is a deliberate feature of the architecture.

  • It can serve as a guard when a desk is placed so a person's back is to the door
  • Wind chimes minimize the loss of energy in a sun room or winter garden
  • Wind chimes can be used to create distinct zones in a room that is used for two different activities (for instance a work area in a bedroom)

Things to avoid

  • Do not stimulate the bathroom with wind chimes.
  • Avoid using broken chimes for cures.
  • If you hang wind chimes from a tree in your garden, it can give you a great deal of pleasure. But if the same wind chimes are disturbing your neighbors so much that they cannot sleep, you may end up with them sending you serious negative psychological thoughts as they dream of doing despicable things to you and your wind chimes. This will be very bad for you and for them. Sound need to be used with consideration.

Bagua Areas:

  • Works well in any area but particularly well in Family, Children, and Helpful People areas
