Personal Kua

The Personal Kua can be derived using the date of birth. With this Personal Kua, you can discover the auspicious and inauspicious directions of your house.

Personal Kua Number For Males

As an example, let's say the male is born on 6/12/1972

Here's how to calculate the personal kua number:
Step (1) Take the year of birth and add them until you get a single digit.
Step (2) Use the common factor of 11 for substraction.
Step (3) Check the date of birth:
Note: The cut off date for determining the year of birth is 4th Feb. If your birth is before the cut off date, add 1 to it.

Example: Year of Birth 1972

(1+9) + (7+2)
10 + 9 = 19
1 + 9 = 10
1 + 0 = 1

11 - 1 = 10
1 + 0 = 1

** If you are born after 4th Feb in 1971, your Personal Kua is therefore 1

** If you are born before 4th Feb in 1971, you have to add 1. Your personal Kua is therefore 2.

For Male, if the above final calculation resulted in a number 5, your Personal Kua is automatically taken as 2.

Personal Kua Number For Females

The calculation is slightly different for female. let's say the female is born on 6/12/1972

Here's how to calculate the personal kua number:
Step (1) Take the year of birth and add them until you get a single digit.
Step (2) Use the common factor of 4 for addition.
Step (3) Check the date of birth:
Note: The cut off date for determining the year of birth is 4th Feb. If your birth is before the cut off date, add 1 to it.

Example: Year of Birth 1972
(1+9) + (7+2)
10 + 9 = 19
1 + 9 = 10
1 + 0 = 1

4 + 1 = 5

** If you are born after 4th Feb in 1971, your Personal Kua is therefore 5

** If you are born before 4th Feb in 1971, you have to subtract 1. Your personal Kua is therefore 4.

For female, if the above final calculation resulted in a number 5, your Personal Kua is automatically taken as 8.

Eastern Group and Western Group

The Personal Kua Numbers are also categorised into Eastern and Western Group:

Personal Kua - 1,3,4 & 9 belong to the Eastern Group.

Personal Kua - 2,6,7 & 8 belong to the Western Group.
