Flying Stars Feng Shui

Beijing

The Flying Stars Feng Shui is a sophisticated and dynamic Chinese Feng Shui. It enables you to find the lucky areas in your house, and these lucky changes over time. You can also use it to reveals the past, present and future of your house luck.

It is rather complicated to calculate the locations of Flying Stars by month, day and hour levels. We will cover an introduction of this feng shui method here.

To help you to understand this method, we will avoid the terminology and use colors and numbers in our explanation.

The history of the Luo Shu magic square can be dated back to thousand years ago. King Wen of China was sitting by the banks of River Luo and he saw a giant tortoise emerged from the river. On the back of the tortoise were circular dots of black and white markings which made up the magic square. Ancient Chinese studied this magic square and then introduced the Flying Stars Feng Shui in the Tang dynasty (618-905 A.C.).

Each chamber in the magic square has a number, and the sum of the numbers is 15 either horizontally, vertically or diagonally. The Flying Stars method incorporate the time dimension (ie. the Feng Shui influences are always changing over time).

It helps you to draw the birth chart of your house which you will use to calculate the luck and happenings in any given month and year for a 20-year period.

Later Heaven Trigram and Magic Squares

The Later Heaven sequence is generated from the Luo Shu Diagramme. When it is combined with the Magic Squares for Flying Stars Analysis, the relationship are as follows:

House Kua Number and Personal Kua Number

In Eight House Feng Shui, there are 8 types of House Kua Numbers and 8 types of Personal Kua Numbers. The house Kua Numbers are further divided into 2 groupings: the Eastern Group and the Western Group.

To find out whether the house is suitable for a person, we will use the Personal Kua Number and the House Kua Number.

The East group persons will have a better luck, if they live in an Eastern Type house. The West group of persons should live in an Western Type house to get a better luck. Therefore you should know what type of person you are and what type of house you live.

Here's how to derive your Personal Kua Number & Grouping

Here's how to determine the House Kua Number

Based on these Kua numbers, we can determine the 4 Auspicious and 4 Inauspicious Directions of a house or for a person from the Kua number.

All numbers are differentiated into two groups. The numbers of 1, 3, 4 and 9 are in the East group. The numbers of 2, 5, 6, 7 and 8 are in the West group.
