Feng Shui Study on Visualization

Visualization

In Feng Shui study, we learn about landforms, Feng Shui symbols, etc. It is very rarely that someone will talk about visualization. Nevertheless, in my opinion, it is an important to use it when you are performing any Feng Shui cures.

Feng Shui cures are not just mechanical acts that "might" work, such as placing a wind chime, hanging a mirror or moving the bed. They are a dynamic mix of external action and internal energy. They are a combination of intention, emotion and action. Your actions and intentions are both simultaneously directed toward the same goal - the change you want to create in your life!

For any Feng Shui cures to become successful, you must have a strong desire for what you want (intention) and mentally see it coming true for yourself (visualization).

Therefore, it is important that each cure you perform include:

  • an action (putting a money plant in place),
  • an intention (become wealthy such as earning your first $1, 000,000 in 3 year time), and
  • a visualization of your intention (seeing yourself becoming wealthier).

If you go around your house putting up lots of mirrors, wind chime, and plants and don't perform the visualization technique, don't be surprise if your results from your cures are poor.

The 2 Basic Steps

Now, let's start with these two basic steps for a while. Once you are better at these, you can try your first real Visualization.:

  • First, get relaxed. Sit or lie in a comfortable position, and make a conscious effort to feel each part of your body relaxing. Start at your toes, and work your way up to your head. As you do this, take slow, deep breaths. This should take a few minutes.
  • Next, start to visualize. You may not "see" a mental picture at first - don't worry about it. After you've relaxed, you can "practice" visualizing by picturing things you see and do in everyday life. Imagine enjoyable things. You might picture your favorite room, or dancing with someone special, or eating your favorite meal. Doing these practice runs will help you "see" when it comes time to try the real thing!

Ok, maybe now you are really good at these 2 basic steps. But before you start the real visualization, you will still need to do this very important thing - "Create a Powerful Intention".

A Powerful Intention

Decide what it is that you want. Is there something you want to change about yourself? Do you want a better job? Do you want better health? Do you have a strong burning desire to have it? Do you believe that it's YOURS?

You pick your goal. You will probably want to start with "easier" goals. Ones that you believe can happen in a timely manner. You can then work up to "harder" ones.

Visualization - Project Your Intention into the World

The next stage is a major key to the success of your cures.

Visualization project your intention to the world and raises the power of the cure greatly.

This is where you clearly see what you want and seeing it occurring in your life.

  • Picture the idea or object exactly as you want it to be. Picture yourself in the situation or using the object as if you already possessed it. Make sure you see this very clearly. You might also draw the scene to reinforce the idea, although, this step is not necessary.
  • Once you've got the picture in your head, think of it often. Not only when you are relaxing or meditating, but throughout the day as well. This is the process of sending that positive energy out into the universe. Remember the old saying "You reap what you sow"? Well, you're "sowing" when you think of what you want. The more positive energy you send out, the more you will get back.
  • Lastly, BELIEVE that the object is yours or will be yours. Any disbelief is negative energy and will counteract what you're trying to achieve.

By clearly visualizing what you want, you adjust your own Chi and propel yourself powerfully towards new actions and outcomes in your life.

The more clear you are about what you want from your Feng Shui cures (your intention) and the more clearly you mentally see it (visualization), the more likely you are to receive it.

It's ok that the visualization you do are not perfect. Don't feel pressured by it. Feel satisfied with what you are doing and use it as a stepping stone for more success. You will only improves as you go, and so will your Feng Shui cures.

Results of Feng Shui Cures

Some people receive immediate results from their Feng Shui cures, while others see their lives gradually improve over time. Still others see no results for a while, then suddenly their lives shift and they see many improvement in a short period of time.

It is difficult to predict how and where changes will occur. Begin with an open, positive expectation, and not be too attached to exactly how or when your results will occur. Continue with more cures, and you will get more support and achieve your desire.
