Feng Shui Family Sector - Cures and Enhancers

Drawing on the imagery of dawn or spring or the initiation of any project, then think no further than the imagery of Wood/Tree. Its chi is best expressed by fresh, healthy plants. Energize the sector with plants, good lighting and fresh air.
Remember, that within the Five Element cycle, Wood/Tree is supported by Water and it may be appropriate to have a small water feature in the Feng Shui family sector.
Here are some tips to activate this sector and bring greater harmony to your family:- Place a brightly colored fan or a flute decorated with bright green and yellow ribbons somewhere in the interior.
- Photographs, paintings or images of your 'tribe' help to support the Feng Shui Family sector. These could be photographs of your family, your work colleagues or members of your team at the sports club. However, try to restrict the number and size of photographs and paintings of your ancestors who have passed on. Our journey is designed to be a forward looking adventure rather than a retrospective one.
- Include colors in this sector of dark green, light blue or turquoise. Install imagery that represents the dawn, freshness and vibrant health.
- To ensure good communication with your love one, friends and family members, make sure that the doors leading into the family area are all in good working order. They are symbolic of strong communication of chi between the rooms.
- If the doors are stick or have any other defects, you can expect tension within the house. In feng shui, the front and back doors must not face each other, nor should three doorways be aligned along a corridor. Place a screen near the back door, shielding the door from sight of the front door. If there is a doorway between the front and back doors, place a beaded or lace curtain or a wind chime in the doorway.
- Find out the lucky direction of all your family members. Living in a house that resonates for only some family members can cause enormous difficulties and clashes. If a member of your family or workforce is feeling particularly hostile, there are two important aspects that can be changed that may help to make that person feel more comfortable. First, check whether the person's entrance into the building should be changed. Ideally, it should be suited to her orientation number.
Secondly, ensure that the person is sleeping with her head pointing in her favorable direction and that she is working at her desk or workstation facing her favorable direction. If that direction is not available, choose one of the other three directions that suit her orientation group. A significant rearrangement of the house or office might be needed to make these changes. The benefits, however, can be great. - If you are having continual arguments with a troubled child, remove mirrors from your child's bedroom, or cover them, as it is believed that mirrors reflect a person's image while they are sleeping, making their spirit feel uneasy: Mirrors also reflect light, creating an energy in the bedroom that is too strong. Also check that there are no poison arrows or negative energy flowing where your child habitually sits, works, or (if appropriate) sleeps.
- Also consider hanging a bell on the door to encourage more peaceful communication between the two of you-the bell helps to clear stagnant energy from the child's relationship between itself and the outside world. Also consider giving the child a present of a piece of jade (to encourage a sense of stability) or some onyx (for balancing and regulating the emotions). If an argument has erupted, clear the energy of the space by clapping your hands or ringing a bell in the corners, using sound as a feng shui cure.
- Flowering plants are good this corner. When flowers bloom, they will bring wonderful vibrant energy associated with success.
Caution
The Fire Element will exhaust the Wood Element of Family Corner. It is not good to have too many lights in this corner.
