The Elephant

The elephant is considered a highly moral animal. People also believe it knows the meaning of gratitude, because legends tell of a man who healed an elephant's wounds, following which the elephant gave its ivory to the man when he was sick. White Elephant In general, the elephant is an important feng shui animal symbol. He walks quietly with heavy feet, embodies earthly reality-Mother Earth, who patiently carries our burden and life's power-paired with great and undefeatable vitality, strength, and wisdom. If provoked, however, the elephant won't hesitate to show us who is the stronger.

The elephant represents power, strength, wisdom and longevity. It also symbolizes successful conception.

Buddha was conceived on the full moon night in July; that night his mother, Maya, dreamt that a white elephant carrying a white lotus in its trunk came and entered her womb through her right flank. Ever since then, elephants have always been regarded as symbol of conception. Sightings of White Elephant are always considered as a good omen.

You can place a pair of elephants on either side of the bedroom door, or place one in the living room. These placements are said to facilitate the conception of male children.
