Bells as Feng Shui Cure

Feng Shui Bell

In Feng Shui, bells are used to reactivate stagnant energy such as corners and dark rooms. To be effective, the sound of the bells must be melodious to you.

Energy becomes stagnant when the space is cluttered or dirty. e.g. A room with a lot of clutter in it or that is full of large pieces of furniture. When you have stagnant energy, you will face many blockages in your life. You will also tend to face more arguments or disagreements.

Depending on where the stagnant energy lies, you may experience obstacles in your work, finances, or relationships.

After you have decluttered the space, you will need to clear the energy in a stagnant area. Simply walk into the space ringing a melodious sounding bell. Stop when you feel that the colors in the room seem clearer or the tone of the bell seems purer.

Bells are also symbolic of peace, and can be hung in the house to attract a better flow of energy. They are especially effective at the end of long corridors, where the energy has had a chance to build to a fast pace, creating a negative force.

The first step to cleansing your space of unhappiness is to clear the area of all clutter. In particular, clear your bedroom totally of unnecessary objects, straighten up all your clothes, and change your sheets. Then ring a hand bell over all the areas where clutter had accumulated.

Pay particular attention to your bed, ringing the bell over every inch of it. Give special focus to the pillows - this is a very useful ritual if you have marital problems, or if you or your spouse or partner are suffering from sleep problems.

You can also hang ting tinkling bells along the Children Corner (Metal Element) or the Helpful People Corner (Metal) or on the entrance facing the entrance of the door to bring in auspicious Chi into your house.
